I just love my customers!

One of the most enjoyable aspects of this business beyond all of the hard work is getting to know my customers directly. I often get asked how I market myself...I used to say I marketed as directly as possible. Now, I say, "EVERY WAY I CAN."

I prefer the direct method where I get to know you and actually achieve dialog and you, my valued customer, try the coffee and then we have more discussion together afterwards. Much of my choices for this company's direction are based on the feedback I get from customers and do know, I AM LISTENING TO YOU!

Today was one such day..it didn't happen once but twice within the same hour. My first customer I met while doing a delivery for my mom yesterday at a consignment shop. While there, I made an attempt to make sure that they had my business cards. Almost immediately, a woman approached me after glancing at my card and exclaimed that she was excited to see a small coffee company promoting Fair Trade and Organic coffee.

This potential client who then became a client had some very personal reasons for wanting to buy from a company that was sensitive to not only the environment but also to what we put in our bodies. I learned this morning as I was making my delivery to her that she had survived cancer and was cancer free over 5 years now. For her, the coffee we offer made a difference and it was why she ordered a pound on the spot which I roasted for her and then delivered.

It is exactly this kind of experience that gives me the drive and impetus every day to make a difference. I hope she loves my coffee and I will treat her and every customer with the same care and respect for in doing that and being genuine, I will create a business marketing phenomenon that they talk about in schools at the MBA level if you really want to be successful.

That formula is simple: Genuinely listen to people, give them  not only ask for but what they need and encourage them to offer feedback and give direction on the product you offer. This is exactly my model and when you become a customer of TeenyTinyCoffeeCompany, you two will have input in the way we market and promote coffee.
